Trading Post Paddle Days Festival

Will Return For May 12-14

NEW MILFORD — Looking for something different to do on Mother’s Day weekend?

The Trading Post will host its Fifth Annual Paddle Days Festival that weekend at Lynn Deming Town Park. The event will run from 9 am to 5 pm each day, rain or shine.

Admission is $10 for a one-day pass or $15 for a weekend pass, with free admission for kids under 12 and seniors ages 70-plus; and admission includes a BBQ lunch prepared by The Cookhouse Restaurant of New Milford.

The event is handicap accessible. A portion of the admission fee will support area organizations that help keep our lakes and rivers clean.

Paddle sports manufacturers, local artisans, vendors and clubs will all be participating.

Live music, a dedicated kids area and great deals on boats and paddling gear will  complement the festive atmosphere. Attendees can also help build a full-sized, wooden boat.

Lynn Deming Town Park is on Candlewood Lake Road North, just off Route 7 in New Milford.  For further information, phone The Trading Post at 860-354-3276, stop by the store at 314 Kent Road (Route 7), or visit Trading-Post-CT.com.
