Alexander L. Bowers

Alexander L. “Mike” Bowers, 78, of Seekonk, Mass., father of Alexander L. Bowers, Jr, of Sandy Hook, died May 4. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Briggs) Bowers.

Mr Bowers was born in Runnemede, N.J. He owned Northeastern Auto Supply, which he ran with two of his sons. He was a veteran of World War II, during which he was a captain with the Air Force.

Besides his wife and son, he leaves two other sons, Jon and Mark, both of Attleboro, Mass.; three sisters from New Jersey; four grandchildren, Steven and James Bowers of Sandy Hook, and Chelsea and Courtney Bowers of Attleboro; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held May 9 in Seekonk, Mass. Burial was private.
