David Alan Raynor, 66, of 1165 Chemeketa Street, Salem, Ore., died May 1, at Salem Hospital in Salem. He was the husband of the late Frances (Piccot) Raynor.
Mr Raynor was born in Mt Vernon, N.Y., on October 7, 1934, son of the late George Austin and Helen Madelon (Letson) Raynor. Mr Raynor served with the US Air Force, and had lived in Newtown before moving to Oregon in 1980. He was a heavy equipment mechanic, a member of the Teamsters, and enjoyed model railroad trains.
He is survived by a son, Austin D. Raynor of Keizer, Ore; two daughters, Kate M. Hoerauf of Salem, Ore., and Dawn F. Wells of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a sister, Joan Pauli of Savanna, Ga.; a grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held on May 9 at Pine Hill Cemetery in Southbury.
The Southbury funeral home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main Street North/Route 6, was in charge of arrangements.
