Maureen P.     Carrigg

Maureen P. Carrigg, 59, wife of Michael Carrigg of 6 Budd Drive, Newtown, died May 6 in Bridgeport Hospital.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., April 29, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William and Leonora (O’Shea) Walsh.

She was a graduate of Mary Immaculate Hospital School of Nursing, Queens, N.Y. A resident of Newtown for two years and a former 25-year resident of Weston, she was a former registered nurse in Westport.

In addition to her husband, Mrs Carigg is survived by a son, Sean Carrigg of Newtown; two daughters, Maureen E. Carrigg of Nebraska, and Tara Carrigg of Bridgeport; and a grandson, Kelsey Gahagan of Wayne, Neb.

Funeral services were held on May 9 from Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, and at St Rose of Lima Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in St Rose Cemetery.
