Worship Service For AIDS

DANBURY — The Reverend Rosetta E. Dubois-Gadson, noted HIV/AIDS educator, workshop leader, and motivational speaker, will give the keynote address, “AIDS: Are We Dying Without a Fight?” at a special worship service on May 18, at 7 pm at the Victory Christian Center in Danbury.

Rev Dubois-Gadson has served the HIV/AIDS world community for many years as an innovative leader and mentor, and is one of its most dedicated advocates. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Gay Men’s Health Crisis in New York City, and the HIV Health and Human Services Planning Council of New York.

The worship service is being sponsored by the Interfaith AIDS Ministry of Greater Danbury and Highway and Hedges. Immediately following the service, a meeting will be held for those within the African American community who are interested in learning about the American Red Cross training to become certified HIV/AIDS peer educators.
