Newtown High School’s girls’ golf team defeated Joel Barlow of Redding 207-233 at Newtown Country Club on April 30. Riley Ragan shot a 38 to lead the way. Lucia St Lorenzo had a 53, Ella Garbowski carded a 57, and Ella Viau a 59.

The Nighthawks hosted Masuk of Monroe the next day and lost as Masuk shot a 183 and NHS 219. Ragan led the way for Newtown carding a 45.
