Radar Stop
Police report that while operating a radar speed unit about 5:30 pm May 7 on Wasserman Way, they found that motorist Ramon Rosado, 29, of Naugatuck was driving 54 miles per hour in a 30 mph speed zone. Police stopped Rosado and investigated, charging him with traveling too fast and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police released Rosado on a $125 bond for a May 17 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Disturbance
Police said they charged Louis Sahley, 41, of 108 Alpine Drive with creating a public disturbance on the night of May 9. Police said Sahley allegedly had yelled at and chased youths and adults near the intersection of Bancroft Road and Alpine Drive. Sahley is scheduled to appear in court May 18 to answer the charge.

Head-On Crash
Police said motorist William Robertson, 24, of 14 Mile Hill Road South was driving a 1998 Ford E-150 van westbound on Wasserman Way about 10 am May 6 and then attempted to turn left onto Mile Hill Road South, but in doing so had a head-on collision with a 1996 Jeep Cherokee driven by Earl H. Tesch, 68, of 6 Grand Place. There were no injuries, police said. Police issued Robertson infractions on charges of making an improper turn and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Police gave Robertson a written warning for having an expired automotive emissions sticker.
