Post Office Food Drive Saturday

The ninth annual Letter Carriers’ Food Drive will be held on Saturday, May 12. Residents are asked to place non-perishable food items next to their mailboxes by 9 am.

The items will be picked up by volunteers and by letter carriers for delivery to the Salvation Army food pantry at Town Hall South. Personal care items such as shampoo, detergent, toothpaste, and diapers also are needed.

Volunteers will sort the donations at the post office on Commerce Road between 1 and 6 pm and box them for delivery to the food pantry. Anyone who is interested in helping can call Robert Frangione at 426-4271.
