$5,000 In Property Damage Caused By Vandalism Spree

Police report a vandalism spree overnight on Thursday,  May 4, and Friday, May 5,  during which an estimated $5,000 worth of property damage occurred involving window breakage.

The damage occurred sometime between 10 pm on May 4, and 7 am on May 5, police said.

Someone threw softball-sized rocks at windows at Amaral Motors at 40 South Main Street, and also at Newtown Shopping Village at 6 Queen Street, police said.

Also, someone threw rocks at the windows of parked vehicles on Peck’s Lane and Plumtrees Road, police said.
