Plenty To Do After The Prom
Plenty To Do After The Prom
To the Editor:
Juniors, seniors, and prom dates! If you donât have a clue what your after-prom plans are, think Mardi Gras. NHS PTSA is sponsoring a Post-Prom Party at Newtown High School right after the prom till 5 am. Thereâll be a DJ, live bands, and even a comedian. If thatâs not enough, you can entertain yourself and friends playing ping pong, pinball, football, basketball, jousting, and even an obstacle course. Enter by 1:30 am and automatically be eligible for awesome raffle prizes. Stay all night and you might win a car, a parking permit for next year, a TV/DVD or one of many more gifts donated by local businesses and parents.
Come check it out. Keep the dancing going or just relax with your friends and watch a movie. Plenty of food and good music. You donât have to stay all night, but who would want to leave?
Just a word of thanks to all those in the community who are helping make this after party a success. We parents of high school students appreciate all you do.
Sincerely,
Mary Anne Ryan
