Creative Mailing 4, Brookfield Dental 1 – Catcher Sabrina Yudelson had a great pop up catch while Cynthia Reynolds and Shannon McCarthy played well to lead Creative Mailing to the win. Kate Bowen struck out 10 and collected two hits while Alex Caracciolo and Emily Krewson each ripped singles. For Brookfield Dental, Ally Modzelewski pitched well and had eight strikeouts while Nicole Elias and Callie Koch had two hits and four stolen bases between them. Sheena Finlayson and Marissa Saravis each played well in the field.

Girls U12

Union Savings 16, My Place Pizza 11 – Rachel Camejo caught a line drive at third, touched third to double off a runner and then threw to first baseman Courtney Amaral for a triple play that led Union Savings to the win. Aria Brownell and Meriah Tani pitched well. For My Place, Marilyn Lacroce had two hits, including a home run, as Abbey Keough and Colleen Durkin hit the ball hard.

Newtown Pools 15, Keno Graphics 2 – Kate Siroky had four hits and five RBI while Hannah Koch stroked three hits to lead the Newtown Pools offense. Amanda Roawan and Taylor Johnson combined to pitch four solid innings. For Keno Graphics, defensively Tara Dawley pitched well in the rain while Mary Beth Meier was the defensive standout. Jessica Fossum contributed a couple singles for the offense.

Newtown Hardware 16, Carminuccio’s Pizza 4 – Colleen Cunningham homered and turned in a double play to lead Newtown Hardware to the win. Katelyn D’Andrea pitched well while Madison Hauck – despite suffering from a leg injury – caught half the game and reached base all four times at bat. For Carminuccio’s, Meghan Davis pitched well while Lauren Cody and Carly Gehrman played well in the field. Mallorie Dunn and Cody collected two hits apiece.

Newtown Pools 11, Carminuccio’s Pizza 1 –

Taylor Johnson had three hits, including a home run, and four RBI while Kate Siroky stroked three hits to lead the Newtown Pools offense. Jessica Jowdy turned a double play to stop a rally. For Carminuccio’s, Christina Caporale had strong defensive play along with Karly Olivera behind the plate. At bat Zoe Eggelston made nice contact.

Girls U10

Newtown Junior Women 6, Newtown Limousine 2 – Kelly Brassard smashed an inside-the-park home run and Mallory Ames pitched well to lead the Newtown Junior Women to the win. Alex DeWolfe had a solid defensive effort behind the plate and Kelsea Morshuk hit the ball hard at the plate. For Newtown Limo, Alexandra Buttery pitched well.

Newtown Junior Women 6, Dr Curtis Beck 1 – Courtney Yap and Callie Furphy hit the ball hard and lifted the Newtown Junior Women to the win. Mallory Ames and Kelly Brassard pitched well. For Dr Beck, Claire Miles hit the ball well while Kelly O’Sullivan had a solid pitching effort, striking out four batters.

Atkinson Stoneworks 9, Mastercard International 3 – Olivia Sergiovanni went 3-for-4 with a double and Courtney Escoda pitched two scoreless innings and made some great plays in the field to lead Atkinson. For Mastercard International, Emma Hungaski had some great hits and Alena Ruscoe pitched several impressive innings on the mound.

Ferris Mulch 15, Atkinson Stoneworks 14 – Julia Frattaroli and Carley Ferris pitched well and combined six strikeouts in two innings to lead Ferris Mulch. Casey French led the offense with double and single. For Atkinson, Ellie Ress hit well and Kimmy Gates pitched two strong innings.

Keno Graphics 18, Ferris Mulch 2 – Madison Erhardt made a golden glove catch at shortstop for an out while Taylor Brady turned a beautiful double play and pitched well to lead Keno Graphics to the win. Heather Leone and Mareena Mallory banged out two hits each. For Ferris, Alexandra Barrows played outstanding defense in the infield and Olivia Ingham pitched well.

She Devils 10, Newtown Limousine 3 – Natalie Galante and Monica Macchiarulo pitched well and aggressively defended first base as the She Devils earned the win. Emily Nacewicz hit a double to drive in the go-ahead run for the game. Anna Grillo played terrific defense at shortstop. For Newtown Limo, Melanie Rotante pitched solidly and had great plays at first base. Mackenzie Lapp while contributed with sold defense for her team.

Atkinson Stoneworks 15, Newtown Limousine 7 – Kamryn Harmeling went 3-for-5 and Annie Beier made some great plays in the field to lead Atkinson to the win. For Newtown Limo, Melanie Rotante and Danielle Shine banged out doubles to pace the offense.

She Devils 16, Newtown Junior Women 6 – Morgan Macchiarulo drove the ball and played great defense at third, Nadia Elhag hit hard and played heads up defense at short, Shaina Stamp played well at second and drove in the go ahead run and Sheila Smith defended the plate and first to help lead the She Devils to the win. For the Junior Women, Callie Furphy worked hard to try and keep the Purple Panther’s fifth inning rally alive with a solid line drive and Sarah Hull and Suzanne Smith-Kerler played heads up defense in the third inning to hold the She Devils scoreless for the inning.

U8

Creative Mailins versus Newtown Exxon – Julia Bell and Shaina Errico pitched well while Kyle D’Andrea banged out two hits and Brittany Gonzalez hit the ball hard to lead Creative. For Exxon, Emily Riley and Sarah Lynch hit the ball well as Morgan Cebry and Lauren Tripodi paced the D and Kendal Harmeling pitched well.
