Bird Watching & Wildflower Walk

At Tarrywile

DANBURY — Members of Swampfield Land Trust have two programs planned for early Saturday morning, May 19, at Tarrywile Park & Mansion.

At 7:30, Barbara Starr will lead members and the public during the trust’s annual bird watching walk. Participants should bring binoculars and bird identification books and wear rugged footwear. There is no charge for the program.

At 9:30 am, the public is again invited to join members of Swampfield Land Trust, this time for a wildflower walk. (Please note this is a new different time than what the group originally announced.) Members will conduct a walk to discover the multitude of wildflowers growing in the park.

There is no charge for this program either. Participants should bring wildflower identification guides and wear rugged footwear.

Tarrywile Mansion is at 170 Southern Boulevard, opposite Immaculate High School. Call 744-3130 for additional information about these or other upcoming programs at the park.
