V-TECH SYSTEMS versus BURTON BUILDERS: Nicole Dooling and Stephanie Perrotti hit the ball well against Burton Builders and Alexandra Cernick did well in the field for V-Tech Systems.

V-TECH SYSTEMS versus NEWTOWN JUNIOR WOMEN: For V-Tech Systems, Nicole Chamberland, Sara Benson and Jenny VanVeen had good bats against the Newtown Junior Women and Amanda Nealy had several put-outs at third base.

DR GELLERT BRACES 13, KOSCHEL BUS (#16) 5: Carolyn Gingras had a pair of hits, including a home run, to lead Dr Gellert to the win. Lauren Johnson also had a pair of hits while Alissa Robertson and Adelle Hull pitched well. For Koschel Bus, Molly Terrell and Sarah Peck each hit well while Marley Koschell played well in the field.

MY PLACE PIZZA 16, NEWTOWN POLICE UNION 7: Ann Hull and Jenna Legros each went 4-for-4 to power My Place to the win. Sam Ross and Rebecca Reed banged out two singles apiece while Taylor Ansbro singled and then sparked the defense by throwing out a runner at third. Stephanie Villa and Taylor Truchsess played well. For NPU. Jackie Kirol, Kristen Bassard, Sarah Edwards, Mary Bloshuk and Caitlin Cosgrove all had solid performances.

CHUBBY’S DELI 16, NEWTOWN POLICE UNION 6: Gina Fenaroli had three hits and drove in six runs and Nicole Alberico banged out five hits and scored five runs to lead Chubby’s Deli. Chelsea Fay pitched two scoreless innings.

RICCI’S SALON 11, BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 3: Lucy Remitz went 3-for-3 at the plate while Laura Newberry and Danielle Silk played well in the field. Katie Serock and Jaclyn Van Waalwijk both pitched well. For Tendler, Rachel Marlin led the defense while Kate Bowen, Nicky Haylon, Kelly Tenney, Maxx Zimmer and Dayna Djonne all collected hits.

BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 13, NEWTOWN POLICE UNION 0: Maxx Zimmer banged out a pair of hits and Kate Bowen, Dayna Djonne and Kelley Tenney pitched well to lead Bob Tendler to its first win of the season. Rachel Marlin and Djonne each turned a double play to spark the defense. For NPU, Allisone Rambone, Sarah Edwards and Ann Berlioux all played well.

CHUBBY’S DELI 11, BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 3: Megan Sajovic had a pair of hits and pitched two solid innings to lead Chubby’s to the win. Nicole Alberico scored three runs and Rachel Rowan made a nice catch at second base. For Tendler, Dayna Djonne, Erin Fish and Rachel Marlin had one hit and Kelly Tenny made some nice defensive plays.

KENDRO LABS 17, DR STEVE LANDIN 15: Jackie Us had four hits with a triple and three runs scored to lead Kendro Labs to the win. Remy Ball had a pair of hits and pitched well while Sam O’Donnell had three hits with solid play in the field. For Dr Landau, Ali Legros and Meredith Palo had three hits apiece while Lisa Alberico was excellent in the field, with six assists and three put-outs. Julie Landin and Katie VanVeen played well.

DR BECK 14, TAUNTON PRESS 9: Hillary Moskowitz and Nora Lynn Shimko combined to pitch six strong innings as Alycia Johnston knocked out three hits. Alex Doniger had a great game at first. For Taunton, Holly O’Day pitched well while Jenny Iodice, Hillary Smith and Alicia Woolf played solid all-around games.

DR STEVE LANDIN 17, NORTHERN WOODWORKS 16: Ashley Gabor collected three hits while Tory Marlin and Meredith Palo scored three runs apiece to lead Dr Landin to the win. Ali Legros, Lisa Alberico, and Maricate Renna had two hits apiece. For Northern, Rachael Warburton and Jessica Cosgrove each had a double and four RBI. Jessica Rockwell played well in the field.

NEWTOWN INSURANCE 17, NEWTOWN HARDWARE 9: Megan Petruney had four hits and scored two runs to lead Newtown Insurance. Melissa Shepard and Alana Wenick had two hits apiece and Ashley Christiano had a double and scored two runs. Erin Ruddock and Katie Ebert pitched well. For Newtown Hardware, Stephanie Manning had a home run and Kyrsten Johnson was 3-for-3. Sally Tabler pitched well and Ali Swink was solid behind the plate.

NORTHERN WOODWORKS 13, BUZZANO CONSTRUCTION 9: Kate Levasseur went 3-for-4 and sparkled in the field to lead Northern Woodworks to the win. Becky Sampson was solid behind the plate and Jessica Cosgrove played well at third base. For Buzzano, Danielle Nicolosi and Annie Grills each went 3-for-3 to spark the offense. Rachel Nicolosi and Allyson Graham led the defensive play.

THE QUIET COMPANY 9, BUZZANO CONSTRUCTION 7: Ashlee Ross banged an RBI double and Kyla Miles went 2-for-3 with three RBI to lead The Quiet Company. Jenna Van Waalwijk pitched four innings of no-hit ball. For Buzzano, Katie DeSimone led the offense as Becky Huot and Kayla Koschel played well.

WALKER INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS 19, JP MAGUIRE ASSOCIATES 12: Tara Ryan, Katie O’Connor and Amber Finlayson played well in the field and helped lead Walker Industrial to the win. Lindsey Chimileski pitched well. For JP Maguire, Lisa Grossman and Kristen Rockwell both hit the ball well while Sarah Holroyd had a strong mound performance and Jessica Gaddis was solid in the field.

JP MAGUIRE ASSOCIATES 16, PEDIATRIC HEALTHCARE 15: Christie Caruso roped a home run in the last inning to lift JP Maguire to the win. Michelle Serock and Allie Hornak powered the offense as Sara Fogliano and Jackie Ercole were strong in the field. For Pediatric, Emily Nezvesky and Shannon Petrasanta led the offense while Caitlin Williams and Marnie Werner anchored the defense.

BUZZANO CONSTRUCTION 20, DR LANDIN 5: Alyson Graham, Jenny Cupero, Kate DeSimone and Kayla Koschel each went 3-for-3 to lead Buzzano Construction to the win. Koschel also fanned nine batters in a fine pitching performance.

BUZZANO CONSTRUCTION 13, KENDRO LABS 12: Dana Hoppel, Danielle Nicolosi and Jennifer Truchess led the offense with big hits while Rachel Nicolosi pitched a greated game. Annie Grills and Becky Huot led the defense.

BUZZANO CONSTRUCTION 21, DR LANDIN 20: Nicole Cunningham, Kayla Koschel, Becky Huot, Jennifer Truchess and Kate DeSimone all played well for Buzzano Construction.

LEXINGTON GARDENS 19, McCHORD ENGINEERING 10: Gina Bloshuk belted a home run and Heather Tracy added a triple to fuel the Lexington offense. Katie Bolmer and Amanda Klabonski also had hits. Michele Imperioli and Stacy Shpunt played well in the field. For McChord, Elisa Scalora and Emily Blewett scored two runs apiece. Kate Fielding played all the infield positions to spark the defense while Samantha Bucholz pitched four strong innings.

ADVANTAGE LOAN 11, LEXINGTON GARDENS 6: Lauren Cascia collected three hits and Leah Herity hit the ball hard to lead Advantage Loan to the win. Courtney Brunton cracked a home run. Alexis Barry was the defensive standout in this battle for first place. For Lexington, Stacy Shpunt and Keri Graves hit the ball well while Corrine Yllanes, Katie Murphy and Andrea Szabo all played well.
