Paulette Rochman Bolin

Paulette Rochman Bolin, 61, of Norwalk, died May 15, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Paris, France, November 27, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Renee Rochman.

Best known for her “Golden Voice,” she was a well-known radio personality for more than 40 years throughout Connecticut and New York.

She is survived by her big brother Pierre Rochman, and his wife Joanne, of Newtown; her loving daughter, Jessica Bolin and son-in-law Paul Gentile of Norwalk; and her two nephews.

Ms Bolin was the quintessential “flower child” of the 1960s, who loved and lived for rock and roll. She loved her big English mastiff, Beau, and was extremely proud of her French heritage. Most of all, she loved cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Friends may call at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road in Trumbull, on Saturday, May 19, from 10 am until noon. A final tribute will be held at noon. Interment will be held privately.
