“During the winter we go to the lake when it is a sunny, cold day. The lake is all ice. It looks like if you were to pick up a piece of ice from the shore the whole lake would come up. There are no cracks, just ice for miles and miles. It looks like a sheet of glass. At the shore, we have a big rock where we sit and watch spring come around the corner.”

—Jenna Calandro

“So now we’ll talk about Fall. First of all, I love the falling leaves. Their colors are stunning. There’s a variety of colors — red, burgundy, brown, orange and yellow. We can rake big piles of leaves and jump into the leaves. That’s my favorite part. The temperature cools once again. You should come see my yard in Fall because of its wonderful colors and relief from the heat.”                —Nicole Chaloux
