To the Editor:

I am writing to thank all of the volunteers from Newtown Youth Services who participated in the Independent Living Day activities at Nunnawauk Meadows on April 29. The members of the Nunnawauk Meadows community are very appreciative of the many tasks that were performed for them, which not only enhance their quality of life but also offer a sense of caring from other citizens in the area.

A special thank you from our administrative staff for your coordination and follow-up. Thanks to your efforts, we were able to sign up a record number of residents and make this day a great success.

We truly appreciate your ongoing support of Newtown’s senior and disabled residents and wish you continued success in all of your endeavors.
