NCC Flea Market Spaces Open For Vendors

Newtown Congregational Church is planning its Third Annual Community Flea Market, to be held along the soccer fields at Fairfield Hills the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, July 1–2.

Vendors are invited to rent spaces for either or both days of the event. Spaces are 10 by 20 feet, tables are not provided and there is no electricity.

The tax-deductible donation for rental is $25 per day for one space, $45 for two spaces, or $65 for three spaces if prepaid by June 1. Vendors can take $5 off any of the above fees if they rent for both days. Reservations are requested by June 1.

For those who wish to reserve a space after June 1, all fees will increase by $5. Also, cash only will be accepted from anyone paying for a space at check-in.

All fees are nonrefundable. The flea market will run from 9 am until 4 pm both days. Vendors will be allowed onto the field for setup beginning at 7 each morning.

To reserve a space in advance, send check or money order payable to Newtown Congregational Church c/o Barbara Field, 10 Serenity Lane, Sandy Hook CT 06482. With the payment include the vendor’s name, address, phone number, fax number (optional), email address, and vendor type (collectibles, antiques, crafts, tag sale items, local business, clothing, etc).

The church is also planning another flea market for September. That event will be taking place the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend, and all fees and hours are the same; early reservations for that event are due by August 1.
