Its membership includes superintendents, assistant superintendents, state Department of Education officials, and college presidents and professors of educational administration.
Dr Pitkoff was formally inducted as president on Thursday, May 11, at the associationâs Annual Meeting and Spring Conference in Mystic, Conn.
CAPSSÂ Executive Director Dr David H. Larson stated, âDr Pitkoff is an outstanding superintendent and his election as president is a strong indication of the respect that he has earned as an educational leader in Connecticut.â
