Sallyport Holdings Jankees 1, Newtown Savings Bank Money 0 – In a rainy pitchers duel, the Money lost a tough one to the even as Clayton Makuch, Kyle Watts and Christian Sayegh played great. The Jankees pitchers combined for a shutout performance and a true team win.

Stony Brook Hurricanes 13, Emmett & Glander Yellowjackets 2 – Will Arndt doubled, tripled and drove in three runs to lead Stony Brook. Chris Tenney, Tim Bloom, Austin Puleri, and Ryan Truchsess also had key hits. Robbie Daigle and Michael Lengel had outstanding defensive games.

Stony Brook Hurricanes 9, Sallyport Holdings Jankees 6 – Connor Blanc singled, doubled and drove in three runs to lift Stony Brook to the win. Michael Lengel and Will Arndt also had two hits apiece. Scott Keating, Ryan Truchsess, Brandon Ziman and Robbie Daigle had key hits to spark the scoring.

Union Savings Bank Orange Crush 7, Enterprise Electric Shock 3 – Andrew Cebry and Curtis Droniak smashed home runs and drove in four runs, together, to lead the Orange Crush to the victory. Connor Mason added a bases clearing double to complete the offensive effort. Michael Greenwood was flawless behind the plate. For the Shock, Erik Samuelson and Anthony Maki had big hits and an RBI each. Ryan Cassidy had a strong defensive game and Jake Tolson pitched well.

Newtown Savings Bank Money 8, Enterprise Electric Shock 6 – Christian Sayegh pitched two solid innings and Joel Fox sparkled in the field to lead the Money to the win. Ryan Tita clobbered an early grand slam to power the offense. Johny Kerins and Clayton Makuch had timely hits in the win. Greg Frattaroli led the Shock with three hits and three RBIs as Kevin Morrissey added two hits and an RBI. Greg Williamson pitched great and Sean Burson made two spectacular plays at shortstop.

Emmett & Glander Yellowjackets 6, Union Savings Bank Orange Crush 3 – Sean Ross and John Matthews homered and Cody Gotthardt smashed a triple to lead the ‘Jackets to the win. Kenny Toal and Michael Greenwood both doubled for the Crush in the loss. Kyler Harmeling and Jack McManus pitched flawless innings and Ryan O’Keefe made a spectacular play at shortstop to keep the game close for the Crush.

Enterprise Electric Shock 10, Sallyport Holdings Jankees 9 – Ryan Kleinert had a stellar game both in the field and with his bat as the Shock captured the win. Anthony Maki, Erik Samuleson and Greg Williamson delivered clutch hits as Austin Bondaio pitched well. For the Jankees, Brandon Capaldo and Matt Wielibinski combined to drive in seven runs while Ryan Dunnigan and Omari Miles sparkled in the field.

Newtown Savings Bank Money 4, Union Saving Bank Orange Crush 2 – Travis Leblanc pitched two shutout innings as the Money slipped by the Crush. Jack Kneisel doubled and scored the winning run in the bottom of the fifth off a hit by Colin Cooper. Ryan Tita pitched the last inning for the save. For the Crush, Ryan Powers was 3-for-3 as Ian McWilliams made a terrific run saving play at third base and Jason Marks added two defensive gems at first base.

Stony Brook Hurricanes 11, Emmett & Glander Yellowjackets 8 – Scott Keating, Will Arndt and Connor Blanc banged out two hits apiece to lead the Hurricanes. Brandon Ziman and Ryan Truchsess contributed to the offensive attack and had outstanding defensive games for the Hurricanes. The Yellow Jackets were led by Oliver Powers, who went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles.

Union Savings Bank Orange Crush 8, Sallyport Holdings Jankees 7 – Jason Marks smashed a double to lift the Crush to the win. Michael Greenwood and Ian McWilliams had key hits and Ryan Powers pitched well. For the Jankees, Clark Giles made a strong defensive play in centerfield while Ryan Dunnigan and Dakota Christiano had key hits.

Newtown Savings Bank Money 14, Emmett & Glander Yellowjackets 4 – A five-run first-inning led the Money to the win. Colin Cooper and Clayton Makuch came up with the key hits to break the game open as Ian Kirner and Joel Fox each drove in two runs. Danny Auerilia hit an in-the park home run and John Matthews and Sean Fahey turned in impressive infield performances for the ‘Jackets.

Enterprise Electric Shock 5, Stony Brook Hurricanes 2 – Ryan Cassidy pitched two strong innings and scored the winning run in extra innings to lift the Shock. Sean Burson and Greg Frattaroli combined for three doubles and four RBIs and both had outstanding defensive games. Jake Tolson pitched well. For the ‘Canes, Chris Tenney and Connor Blanc powered the offense while Tim Bloom made an outstanding catch in left field.

Emmett & Glander Yellowjackets 4, Union Savings Bank Orange Crush 1 – Connor Pineau make a spectacular catch and turned in a solid performance at the plate to lead the ‘Jackets. Luke Shearin had an excellent defensive game. For the Crush, Andrew Cebry hit a double to spark a late rally while Kyle Harmeling closed the game with a good inning on the mound. Michael Greenwood hit a single and played well behind the dish.

PC Metals 14, Lee J. Demers, Builder 7 – PC Metals scored six first-inning runs and never looked back en route to victory last week. Patrick Thornberg and Gary Braun had key hits as Riley Wurtz, Michael Allwein and Jeff Grasso scored three runs apiece. For Demers, Dean Demers who rapped four singles while Chad Magoulas, Kyle Wilcox and Stefan Hennessey had three hits apiece (Magoulas and Wilcox both smashed triples).

BASE Technologies 13, PC Metals 2 – Brandon Cooper whacked a solo home run, doubled twice and drove in four runs as BASE rolled to the win. Michael Koch doubled and singled, Austin Ekstrom drove in two runs and Jack Curry doubled in a run. For PC, Patrick Thornberg doubled and scored a run while Wes Tardie singled in a run and made a nice play at first. Chris Otero made a spectacular catch in left field and Jeff Grasso pitched well.

BASE Technologies 17, Ryder Financial 3 – Michael Koch went 3-for-4 and Joe Davis, Austin Ekstrom and Matt Spencer had two hits each to lead BASE Technologies. Joe Davis tripled and drove in four runs while Pat Sullivan doubled and drove in three runs.

Ryder Financial 11, MasterCard International 10 – Andy Kelley singled, doubled and a tripled to power Ryder Financial. Sean Dardine singled and doubled as Mike Scharfenberg pitched well in his first appearance this season. For MastercArd, Colton Sposta and John Lebinski banged out two hits apiece.

Associated Refuse 6, AERCO International 3 – Christian Klein, Akash Ahuja and John Bashak each had a hit while Colton Smith, Brandon Powell and Nick Cirone combined to pitch five scoreless innings in the victory for Associated Refuse. AERCO International had strong pitching from Jack Condon and a good offensive effort from Will Dalton at the plate, but a late rally came up short.

AERCO International 14, Mobil 1 Lube Express 11 – Devon Palila provided strong defensive play and Stephen Price swung the bat with conviction as AERCO took the win.

Dental Associates 12, Mobil 1 Lube Express 2 – Great fielding by Mobil 1’s Nicholas Carozza and Michael Cook were not enough to hold off Dental Associates offensive firepower.

Mount Pleasant Hospital For Animals 8, Equale & Cirone 8 – Darryl Silverlieb pitched two solid innings while Michael Biancardi made a dramatic game saving catch of a line drive at third base to lead Mount Pleasant. Jeremy Fellin, Clay Gattey, Forest Speed and Jim Parker had two hits each to power the offense.

Mount Pleasant Hospital For Animals 12, Fairfield County Irrigation Systems 11 – Jim Parker and Darryl Silverlieb pitched well and Forest Speed had a big day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored and four RBIs to lead Mount Pleasant to the win. Jordan Headford hit a clutch double with two outs in the final inning to drive in the eventual winning run. For FCIS, Jason Ferrari made a fine catch on a high fly ball to right-center field. Stephen Grasso belted a two-run inside-the-park homer while Logan Walsh singled, doubled twice and scored three runs.

Equale & Cirone 17, BW Retail Real Estate Group 16 – CJ Dunn went 3-for-3 as Markus Elken and Chase Wurtz scored three runs each, but BW could not get past Equale & Cirone. Nick Roche, Jonathan Rospenda and Wurtz pitched well for BW.

Associated Refuse 5, Coldwell Banker 2 – Brandon Powell drove in two runs while Matt Mitchel and Bobby Lydon had one RBI each to lead Associated Refuse.

Associated Refuse 16, Taunton Press 5 – Brandon Powell went 4-for-4 while Colton Smith and Will Swain scored four times apiece to help Associated Refuse in their win. Nick Cirone and Nehar Patel contributed two hits each. Ryan Rosenberger led the Taunton Press offense with a couple of hits. Alec Bedini had a great game defensively.

Equale & Cirone 10, Dental Associates 7 – Wiley Zahansky and Michael Davenport played well on offense to lead Equale & Cirone to the win. Cooper Mclean and Mitchel Girgasky played well in the field, as did catcher Michael Cirone.

Fairfield County Irrigation 8, Taunton Press 4 – Jimmy Leidlein pitched a strong two innings for Taunton Press in the loss. Jack O’Brien had a clutch hit and drove in two runs.

Mobil 1 Lube Express 9, Taunton Press 1 – Jacob Burden pitched well and Max Rucinski was strong behind the dish to lead Mobil 1. Jack Lago hit the ball hard. For Taunton Press, Kevin Conte had three hits as Tommy Rahr made a couple of key defensive plays and Rhett Ehnot pitched well in relief.

Mobil 1 Lube Express 6, BW Retail Real Estate Group 4 – Shane Quimby, Julian Dunn, and Max Rucinski all had two hits to lead Mobil 1. Jonathan Santyana doubled and Jack Lago pitched well with two shutout innings. For BW, Nathan Cooper and Jon Rospenda had two hits and an RBI each. Nick Roche and Harry Duffy pitched well and Jimmy Widman had a nice game behind the plate.

Associated Refuse 6, Mount Pleasant Hospital For Animals 4 – Nehar Patel drove in a couple of runs to lead Associated to the win. For Mount Pleasant, Darryl Silverlieb, Forest Speed, Jeremy Fellin and Jim Parker pitched well as Forest Speed continued his torrid hitting with two hits and a run scored.

DINA 6, Turner Construction 2 – Keaton McCleary and Jake Courchene-Roy each stroked three hits and scored both runs for Turner in a loss.
