To Celebrate Two Of Its Own

The Greater Newtown Chapter of Hadassah will honor two of its members during a “Women to Women” celebratory luncheon Sunday, June 7.

Honorees are Ellen Seidman and Bernice Ullman, who have freely given their time, energy, and effort to help grow Newtown’s Hadassah section. The community is invited to join Hadassah chapter members in celebrating these ladies and their efforts.

As current Co-Presidents Susan Hersh and Julie Leventon said, “Where would we be without Bernice and Ellen? Without their guidance, support and devotion, our chapter would not exist.”

The luncheon, usually held in conjunction with a fashion show, is the chapter’s annual fundraiser. It will take place from 12:30 to 3:30 pm at Sal e Pepe Restaurant, 97 South Main Street, and will feature hors d’oeuvres, soft refreshments, a sit-down meal, dessert, and coffee. A cash bar will be available.

There will be a silent auction and special entertainment by a surprise vocalist. Seating is $45 a person and reservations are requested by Sunday, May 24. Call 426-1505 for reservations or additional information.
