Hands On History For Children Open To Registration
Children ages 8 to 13 can try their hands at arts, crafts, games, and cooking from colonial and Victorian times at Beardsley House at 31 Great Ring Road, Monroe, on June 29, 30, and July 1 from 9:30 am to noon for Monroe Historical Societyâs Annual Hands On History For Children program.
Projects in the program include learning how to make hand-dipped candles, weave on a loom, do a needlework project, paint a reverse glass painting, cook, and make ice cream in an old-fashioned ice cream freezer
