Beloved Mother

And Grandmother

Katharina Gronau, 96, of Newtown, died May 14. She was born November 28, 1912, in Fuessen, Germany.

She survived two World Wars. In 1960, she immigrated to the United States to visit her grandchildren, and stayed.

She is survived by two children, Clare Miller of Newtown, and Franz Kugelmann, of Juneau, Alaska; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs Gronau will be missed by her family and friends, and loved forever.

She was laid to rest overlooking Rams Pasture Pond, next to the husband Alfred Gronau, Saturday, May 16.
