Police Seeking Owners Of Found Items

Police are seeking the owners of various found items that they are holding for safekeeping at the police station at 3 Main Street.

One of those items was found on May 18 inside the Big Y supermarket at Newtown Shopping Village at 6 Queen Street. It is a silver ring that has both pink and white stones set in it.

Also being held by police for safekeeping are: a diamond ring found at the Big Y on April 4; a blue Invacure-brand wheelchair found at the Big Y parking lot on March 17; a motorized scooter and a tricycle-style scooter found at the St Rose Church campus on Church Hill Road on March 16; a Hewlett-Packard computer printer that was mistakenly delivered to a Fox Run Lane address on February 20; and two girls’ bicycles, which were found at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Pearl Street on February 8.

People who believe that they are the owners the found items may contact Sergeant Darlene Froehlich at the police station at 426-5841 to claim the items.
