DANBURY â The community is invited to meet and learn about The Handy Dandy Handyman program on Wednesday, May 27. The program will be presented by its creator, Peter Brady, at 10 am, at Danbury Senior Centerâs Elmwood Hall, 10 Elmwood Place.
Based in Brookfield, Mr Brady and hundreds of volunteers are responsible for helping many people who are in need. Be it in the form of house repairs, Rake & Bake events, matching specific needs to donations, or countless other acts of kindness, Mr Brady is the inspiration that fuels the Handy Dandy Handyman program.
Attendees will learn about the ministry and how to become involved.
Then on Friday, May 29, Dr Allen Hindin will present âFishing in Alaska & Dentistry.â Dr Hindin is a Danbury-based dentist who is part of Dental Health Aid Therapists, dedicated dentists and staff who bring basic clinical and behavioral oral health care to Alaskan Native villages.
That program will begin at 1:15.
Both programs are free, and reservations are not necessary. Additional information is available by calling 797-4686.
