Newtown High School’s softball team had its South-West Conference Tournament semifinal-round contest with Lauralton Hall moved from Tuesday, May 27 to the next night. The Nighthawks will face Lauralton at Stratford’s DeLuca Field for a 7 pm first pitch on Wednesday, May 28.

The game was originally to have been played at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield but the threat of severe thunderstorms caused the change.
