Merryhill Child Care Center, Inc. in Newtown is proud to celebrate our 25th anniversary of nurturing infants, toddlers and preschool children of Newtown and surrounding towns. On behalf of the Board and Staff of Merryhill, we would like to thank all the current Merryhill families and alumni who have allowed us the opportunity to care for their most precious children over the last 25 years.

Merryhill’s non-profit status, family involvement and NAEYC accreditation promote a true family atmosphere, as our parents are invited and encouraged to become members of the board, program volunteers and long-time friends of the center. We could not have created such a loving environment that provides quality care and early learning experiences without all of the family, community and staff support and dedication through the years.

In honor of our 25th anniversary, we are almost complete with exciting renovations to our center. We invite you to take a tour of our updated center and meet our esteemed staff at one of our upcoming open houses: Thursday, June 4, 5-7:30 pm; Saturday, June 13, 9-11 am; and Saturday, June 27, 9-11 am. In addition, we are hosting a public celebration/fundraiser at the NYA on Saturday, June 6, from 11 am-3 pm, including a Touch-a-Truck, Children’s Activities and Food Vendors.
