A Successful NYS Fundraiser
A Successful NYS Fundraiser
To the Editor:
BB King would have loved what he heard at the Fireside Inn on Saturday evening! The Hat City Blues Band performed for a âjazzedâ up audience at their second annual fundraiser for Newtown Youth Services. It was a great success. The band, spearheaded by David Lott, raised $2,500 for our agency.
Many thanks to the talented members of the Hat City Blues Band, all those who attended the event, and to the sponsors who helped make the evening possible: Curtiss & Crandon, Dr Curt Riebeling, Dr Henry Gellert, Friends of Hat City Blues Band, Mike Nahoum, Lux and Timmel, Newtown Insurance, Sue Catino, Taunton Press, Champagne Carpentry, Charter Communications, Drs Dudley, Condon & Golisano, Drug Center, Family Health Care Associates, Fireside Inn, Fleet Bank, Lexington Gardens, Newtown Color Center, Universal Tile and Marble, Amaral Motors, Kingâs Restaurant, The Ice Cream Shop, Starbucks, Bagel Delight, Newtown Pizza Palace, and Church Hill Wine and Spirits.
I would like to offer a special thank you to members of the Middle School Youth Advisory Board who so efficiently handled the ticket sales, raffles, and door prizes: Keegan Frobey, Allison Jagoe, Samantha Villa, and Emily Weber. You were a wonderful addition to the evening!
On behalf of Newtown Youth Services I thank you all for a very enjoyable evening. We look forward to seeing you again next year.
Gratefully,
