NHS Golfers Win Three More Matches

Newtown High School’s golf team defeated Masuk, Immaculate, and Pomperaug this past week to improve to 10-1 in South-West Conference play and 11-4 overall.

Newtown defeated Masuk 175-179 May 19 at Whitney Farms in Monroe

Kevin O’Connell shot a 41 and earned medalist honors. Other Newtown results are as follows: Zach Dlouhy 42, Abbey Doski 44, Paul Michaud 48, and Chris McCann  49      

The Nighthawks defeated Immaculate 169-175 at Richter Park in Danbury on May 20.

O’Connell shot a 39 for medalist honors. Other NHS results: McCann  41,  Michaud 43, and Doski 46.

Newtown beat Pomperaug 161-170 at Rock Ridge Country Club on May 24. McCann shot a 36 for medalist honors. Newtown’s other scores are as follows: O’Connell 41, Michaud 41, and Doski 43.
