To the Editor:

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everybody in Newtown who helped us reach our goal of competing at the Odyssey of the Mind World Final Competition at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa last week.  We are grateful to everyone who watched a bunny, made a pet rock, bought a spontaneous poem, had a face painted or simply threw their spare change into our jar!  The support shown to us was fantastic.

We did our best to represent Newtown well and we won 6th Place out of the 50 teams in our Problem & Division.  Over 833 teams competed in the competition overall from 16 countries and the US.  We would like to share this prize with all of you because we couldn’t have done it without your help.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.
