Feng Shui Basic Precepts

BETHEL — An eight-week intensive course in all foundation knowledge for feng shui will be taught by Deborah Brody Ch’en, the wife and closed-door disciple student of Master C.H. Ch’en, this summer. The course covers how to observe mountains, water, and ch’i, understanding Yin and Yang, fundamentals of Pa Kua, I Ching, the Chinese calendar, and five elemental actions, plus entry to shape, compass, and nine stars methods.

Mrs Ch’en holds an MA in Chinese linguistics and classical studies from National Taiwan Normal University. She is the translator and interpreter for all of master Ch’en’s teaching, consulting, and publication work in the United States, and is the designated instructor for his entry-level feng shui curriculum.

The class will meet each Friday evening beginning July 1 through August 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. It will be held at HSIMGADO/US office, 71 Stony Hill Plaza in Bethel. For registration and fees information, call 775-5829.
