LEXINGTON GARDENS 15, ADVANTAGE LOAN 12: Stacy Shpunt, Rebecca Narel and Keri Graves displayed some timely hitting to lead Lexington Gardens to the win. Gina Bloshuk, Corrine Yllanes and Heather Tracey all played well in the field. For Advantage, Lauren Cascia, Katie DiVanno and Courtney Brunton sparked the offense while Kendal Deakin was excellent in the field.

PEDIATRIC HEALTH 18, McCHORD ENGINEERING 16: Kristin DeFilippe and Caitlin Williams played solid defense to help lead Pediatric Health to the win. Marnie Werner powered the offense while Lauren Gully and Samantha Friedman had good games. For McChord, Kate Fielding had three hits, Caitlin Thursland was solid behind the plate, and Emily Blewett and Sam Bucholz pitched well.

LEXINGTON GARDENS 9, McCHORD ENGINEERING 5: Amanda Klabonski, Rebecca Narel and Gina Bloshuk provided the RBIs that helped lead Lexington to the win. Katie Bolmer, Lauren Grimaldi and Katie Murphy turned in nice defensive performances. For McChord, Samantha Bucholz pitched well while Teresa Villafano and Kate Fielding sparked the defense. Emily Blewett and Christina Wolf both hit the ball hard.

NORTHERN WOODWORKS 11, BUZZANO CONSTRUCTION 5: Sammie Ciaccia doubled while Bria Innurrato, Laura Konkos and Maricate Conlon played well in the field to lead Northern Woodworks to the win. Katie DeSimone, Rachel Nicolosi and Becky Huot hit the ball well for Buzzano. Jennifer Truchess and Annie Grills anchored the D.

NORTHERN WOODWORKS 15, KENDRO LABS 5: Val Nezvesky and Rachel Warburton pitched well and Marciate Conlon and Melissa Paynter had nice games in the field to lead Northern Woodworks. For Kendro, Amanda Tambarino, Ally Kirk and Remy Ball all had good games.

NORTHERN WOODWORKS 7, KENDRO LABS 5: Kate Levasseur had a pair of singles to lead Northern Woodworks to the win. Val Nezvesky and Rachel Warburton pitched well while Jessica Cosgrove and Jessica Rockwell sparked the defense. For Kendro, Remy Ball and Jackie Us pitched well while Jen Blauvelt and Samantha O’Donnell hit the ball hard.

CAVALIERE & SONS 12, TAUNTON PRESS 11: Christina Matsis had three hits while Kayla Moore and Nicole Rua had two hits apiece to lead Cavaliere & Sons to the win. Kelly Anne Murphy played well. For Taunton Press, Jessica DiVanno had a pair of hits and Tara Meehan was on base four times to lead the offense. Katie Rose Crevier pitched a nice game.

NEWTOWN INSURANCE 11, DR BECK 1: Claire Berlioux, Sarah Greenfield and Erin Ruddock rapped out three hits apiece as Newtown Insurance won. Megan Petruney ran the bases well while Catrina Morgan scored a pair of runs and led the defense with a nice catch behind the plate. For Dr Beck, Caitlin Eckart and Sara Regensburger anchored the defense while Alycia Johnston and Caitlin O’Connell pitched well.

CAVALIERE & SONS 14, TAUNTON PRESS 9: Alyssa Schankman and Jess Dugan rapped out three hits apiece to lead Cavaliere & Sons to the win. Allura Thompson and Kelly Anne Murphy played well while Lauren Jones pitched a nice game. For Taunton Press, Katie Rose Crevier led the offense, Holly O’Day pitched well, and Lauren Nute was solid in the field.

NEWTOWN HARDWARE 18, CAVALIERE & SONS 4: Katie Midlik not only pitched well, but belted a home run to lead Newtown Hardware to the win. Ali Swink contributed a double while Sally Tabler and Brittany Pasko played well in the field. For Cavaliere, Sam Pribesh was 3-for-3 with two runs scored. Nicole Schier and Christina Matsis had good games.

CAVALIERE & SONS 7, DR CURTIS BECK 6 (Consolation Game – 3rd Place): Sam Pribesh banged out a pair of hits and scored two runs and Christina Matsis pitched three shutout innings as Cavaliere & Sons came back from a 6-0 deficit to win. Kayla Moore and Jess Dugan played solid defense. For Dr Beck, Courtney Sullivan scored two runs, Hillary Moskowitz pitched well, and Caitlin Smiley and Lauren Egdahl played great defense.

KOSCHEL BUS (#16) 15, NEWTOWN POLICE UNION 14: Cristin Carlin drove in Colleen Murphy with the winning run to lead Koschel Bus. Murphy had two hits, a walk, and two RBI on the day. Stephanie Sanchez went 3-for-3 but Stacy Broughton pitched well and also hit three singles, driving in six runs. For NPU, Katie Caulfield, Sarah Edwards, and Allison Rambone played well.

BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 16, RICCI’S SALON 7: Dayna Djonne, Kelly Tenney and Katie Bowen pitched a solid game and led Bob Tendler to the win. Cate Waterhouse had three hits, including two doubles, to spark the offense. Bowen and Djonne also had two hits apiece. For Ricci’s, Crystal Perrotti, Lucy Remitz and Katie Serock all had hits while Jaclyn Van Waalwijk played well at third base.

MY PLACE 12, BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 5: Sam Ross went 3-for-4 and Renata Villarreal went 2-for-3 as My Place Pizza defeated Bob Tendler in the semi-finals of the U10 playoffs. Taylor Ansbro doubled and Rebecca Reed, Danielle Petrella and Jenna Legros all had good defensive games. For Bob Tendler, Kelly Tenney was 2-for-3 with a triple while Michelle O’Rourke, Carli Doherty and Ali Modzelewski all had hits. Erin Fish and Nicki Haylon played well.

AIRE SERV HEATING & AC 16, DRUG CENTER 11: Jillian D’Framo reached base three times and scored once to help lead Aire Serv to the win. Nicole Reyen had a pair of singles and one RBI while Samantha Lockhart scored two runs. For Drug Center, Joanna Barry had a pair of home runs and Nicole Benzinger had three hits. Jennie Sampson and Renee Rushefski also added a pair of hits.

DR HENRY GELLERT BRACES 11, AIRE SERV HEATING & AC 9: Adelle Cerretta banged out a pair of doubles and pitched four strong innings to lead Dr Gellert to the win. Carolyn Gingras and Elissa Robertson were solid in the field. For  Aire Serv, Samantha Lockhart had a single and two RBI to lead the offense. Nicole Reyen singled and played great defense and Nora Lynn Shimko clubbed her second home run of the season. Kim Nezvesky and Sarah Shannon also played well.

BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 14, AIRE SERV HEATING & AC 1 (Consolation – 3rd place): Maxx Zimmer, Ally Modzelewski (double) and Kate Bowen rapped out two hits apiece to lead Bob Tendler to the win. Kelly Tenney doubled. Dayna Djonne pitched well and Erin Fish made a great play at third base. For Aire Serv, Rachel Taback, Nicole Reyen and Sarah Shannon had two hits apiece. Jillian Lemma and Kathleen Brown anchored the defense.

STUDENT

 

V-TECH SYSTEMS versus NEWTOWN POOLS: Jessica Edwards, Sara Benson and Nicole Chamberland all had several hits against Newtown Pools. Jennifer Perez did a great job on first base.

V-TECH SYSTEMS versus DANZIGER HOMES: Jenny and Kelly VanVeen had hot bats against Danziger Homes, while in the field Abbey Doski and Amanda Nealy teamed up for several outs from the pitchers mound to third base.

 V-TECH SYSTEMS versus CENTURY 21/GLEASON GROUP: Samantha Testanero had two doubles while Abbey Doski added another double against Century 21/Gleason Group.  The whole team did a great job playing defense and getting several runners out on the bases.

V-TECH SYSTEMS versus PREFERRED COMPUTER SERVICES: Samantha Testanero led the attack for V-Tech Systems with two home runs and two doubles. Helping her was Abbey Doski with two doubles and two singles and Amanda Nealy and Nicole Chamberland with one double and three singles each. In the field, the VanVeen sisters, Jenny and Kelly, along with Alexandra Cernick, had solid defense and helped make several outs against Preferred Computer Services.
