Jonathan R. Ullo

Jonathan R. Ullo, 17, son of John and Patricia (Haug) Ullo of 19 Adams Hill Lane, Newtown, died unexpectedly June 15 in Danbury Hospital.

Jonathan was born in Danbury November 27, 1982. A resident of Newtown for four years, he had previously lived in Bethel, London, England, and Austin, Tex.

He had just completed his junior year at Newtown High School. While at Newtown High School he was a member of the Key Club and a member of the Newtown High track and cross-country teams. He was also a former member of the Newtown football team. He was recently invited to the National Student Leadership Conference, Law & Advocacy Program.

Jonathan’s sports interests included snowboarding, golf, parasailing, and running.

He is survived, besides his parents, by one sister, Megan Ullo of Newtown; his maternal grandmother, Marie Haug of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; aunts and uncles; and 29 cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St Rose of Lima Church on June 20. Interment was in St Rose of Lima Cemetery.

The Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, was in charge of arrangements.
