At Barnum Museum

BRIDGEPORT — Volunteer opportunities are available at The Barnum Museum, 820 Main Street in Bridgeport, for people interested in serving as docents, tour guides and assistants with visiting adults, school groups, children’s drop-in creative activities and family programs.

The Barnum Museum was bequeathed to the city by P.T. Barnum and opened in 1893. Owned by the City of Bridgeport, the museum building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1972.
