Rolling Toward A Record, Sat.

A fundraiser and an opportunity for area residents to break a world record will take place on Saturday, June 18, at Newtown High School. Start time for the event is 11 am.

The public is invited to join NHS students when they try to break the world record for the largest group of people simultaneously rolling tires. The current record is 237 people.

Cost is $5 per person, which gets each person who registers into the group and gives them a tire. All money raised on Saturday morning will then be donated to Relay For Life/American Cancer Society.
