Five Charges

Police said that while on radar speed patrol about 4:50 pm on June 15, they stopped motorist Juan Santiago, 48, of Monroe near 42 High Bridge Road to investigate.

That investigation resulted in police charging Santiago with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license, and traveling too fast.

After processing the arrest, police released Santiago on $1,000 bail for a June 29 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
