HRH Walk Of Reflection

Sat. Morning

Sticks & Stones Farm, at 201 Huntingtown Road, will host the 2nd Annual HRH (Honor, Remember, Heal) Walk on Saturday, June 18.

Parents, siblings, and other family members and friends who have lost a child to addiction are invited to participate in the program, which will run from 9 am to noon in a drug-, alcohol-, and smoke-free environment and nonjudgmental environment.

The morning will begin with a greeting and a speaker on the subject of “Healing Our Grief.” There will be guided meditation, the healing sounds of Crystal Cymbology. The group will then take time for a walk of reflection around the farm’s 54-foot Chartre Stone and Moss labyrinth.

A candle lighting ceremony that will include the recitation of the names of those being remembered will take place.

Those planning to participate should wear comfortable shoes and clothing that will allow easy movement.

Reservations can be made by sending an e-mail to Joanne White at HRHAnnualWalk@gmail.com or 203-650-4060. Visit the group’s Facebook page (HRH Walk of Reflection) for additional information and another option for reservations.

The walk, organized last year by Ms White, is designed to Honor the lives of children, Remember they were more than their addiction, and Heal from the loss of a loved one.
