Dynamites 1, American Eagles 1: Mallory Lobuglio, the Dynamitesâ top scorer for the year, scored the lone goal. Julia Haskins, Cathy Hyeon, Marit Lyon, and Lucy Draper formed a strong defensive line, while the offensive effort was led by Emma Schmid-Tharnish, with strong consistent pressure from midfielders Lauren Russo and Olivia Butler. Sydney Johnson and Jackie Seras made big saves in the goal to hold the tie. For the American Eagles, Julia Doyle scored on an assist from Hana Rosenthal. Maya Neuhoff, Kaysie Fisher, Lizzie Delp, and Jillian Milano led the teamâs strong defense, while Rachel Tomasino, Lauryn Ankers, and Olivia Hage made several big saves in goal. Kaitlyn McNichols, Kelly Daly, and Grace Sholtes showcased their speed and endurance while patrolling the midfield.

Lightning 0, Westport 0: The Lightning demonstrated great effort and admirable resilience as they battled fiercely in a drenching downpour that never let up throughout the game. Although the Lightning dominated the second half, they were unable to find the back of the Westport net and had to settle for a scoreless tie. Emily Riley was a part of the action all over the midfield and Michele Zarifis had strong play on defense. Andrea Rodriguez played tough in goal while being forced to grapple with a very slippery ball.  Â
Lightning 2, Westport 1: Sarah Lynch had a great game, scoring twice for Newtown with a nice assist by Jesse Sailer on the first goal. Andrea Rodriguez was excellent in the goal as she shut down one offensive attack after another, backed up by Dale Shearin, Meg Korchman and Sydney Allen anchoring the defense.

Chatterboxes 3, Earthquakes 1: Leading the way for the Chatterboxes was Sierra Mather with 2 goals and Emily Grimes with 1 goal and an assist. Alex Dittrich and Meghan Grimes each had an assist. Morgan Goldstein and Steph Devaney continue to show strong ball control in the middle third. Danielle Mola and Hannah Grant also played well.
Chatterboxes 5, Earthquakes 1 (Tournament pool play): The Chatterboxes were fueled by Emily Grimesâ 3 goals and Jamie Duncanâs 3 assists. Sierra Mather had 2 goals and Alex Dittrich had an assist. Renee Henriques and Margot Elkins led the defense as Marissa Liberante and Amanda Donovan commanded the midfield.Â

U8
 Spartans 2, Black Hawks 1: Kyle Duval scored for the Black Hawks. Steven Vournazos scored first for the Spartans, and Elijah Delp scored the winner. For the Black Hawks, Jack McDermott played a strong all around game, while Rohan Mansukhani, Cory Furrier, and Ben Schmid-Tharnish offered good defensive support. For the Spartans, Tim Davis was key in the goal, Alex Delp was strong in the midfield, while Zachary Masone delivered a solid all around performance.
U10
Predators 4, Team Three 0: Michael Liberante scored twice and Kevin Arther and Casper De Wit scored. The Predators had tremendous passing and a lot of opportunities to score. In goal, Christopher Russo and Brian Manna played well. David Usher played through an injury to help out the defense. Ryan Escoda was up and down the field, preventing opposing team goals with his speed. Michael Arther, Chad Azzarito, and Thomas Majilinger were outstanding on both offense and defense.
Newtown 5 Old Greenwich 5: The Net Rippers finished their inaugural season with a tie. After a quick goal by Matthew Booch-Bucci set up by a nice assist from Brendan OâHara, the Net Rippers were on their way. OâHara provided a rebound which Nick Harper quickly hammered into the net, and Newtown was up 2-0. Old Greenwich responded with four unanswered goals before Newtown came back. Josh Harper provided two assists to Booch and OâHara, and OâHara nailed a penalty kick to tie it 5-5. Goalie Adam Bergeron was tremendous, with great defensive help from Award-Winning Hunter Procaccini, Amazing Andy Greenwood, and Rockinâ Ryan Brello. Mark Hall and Silas Decker worked magic as both middies and defenenders, and Might Matt Gerbo was once again a force on the field. Evan Eggleston anchored the team, with unrelenting consistency, shutting down Old Greenwichâs orange cleats every chance he got.Â

Strikers 5, Wilton Blue 3: After a quick score by Wilton minutes into the game, Newtown answered with a goal from Albert Dean to tie the game 1-1. Newtown went ahead with a goal by Cole Rogalin early in the first half, aided by the offensive efforts of Jacob Harper, Ryan Kiss, and Spencer Tolson. Wilton came back in the second half with two more goals but were no match for Blake Jarvis who scored two goals for the Strikers. James Carney and Robby Schreiber kept the pressure on offensively throughout the second half, and Josh Houle sealed the win with a score off of a penalty kick. Paul OâLeary played the tenacious defense he has displayed all season long, and the team got solid play from Scott Martin and Liam McNichols. Alex Gerbo and John Carlson were outstanding at both ends of the field, while Zachary Laros was solid in goal for Newtown.

Hot Pockets 6, Phoenix 1: Miguel Rodriguez scored for Phoenix. Colin Villamana and Quinlan Hart playing well at midfield, and Mitchell Roberts was a strong forward. Scoring for the Hot Pockets were Carter Nordman, Tim Kelly, Justin Adsitt-Weiner, Thomas Shaker, and Thomas Gavel with 2.
