Rona Leventhal Presents A Double Billing At Library
Rona Leventhal Presents A Double Billing At Library
International storyteller Rona Leventhal, who appeared at the C.H. Booth Library in 2009, will return Monday, June 21, to kick off the Summer Reading Program for Teens and, for the first time, the Summer Reading Program for Adults. She will present two distinct programs.
âCool Drinks & Cool Storiesâ will be presented for the young people in rising grades six through 12, to introduce the Teen Summer Reading Challenge, from 3 to 5 pm, June 21. Participants are invited to enjoy a fruit smoothie and Ms Leventhalâs âMysteries, Puzzles, and Mind Twistersâ program. Full details for the reading challenge will also be available. Sign-ups are available at chboothlibrary.org.
Ms Leventhal will also kick off the Summer Reading Program for Adults that evening, at 7, with a performance of âStories at the Heart of Ourselves,â tales for an adult audience. Refreshments will be served following the event, and the audience is encouraged then to share favorite titles with one another for good summer reading. Register online at chboothlibrary.org. Space is limited, but the progr am is free.
