14-15 YEAR OLDS

 

POLAND SPRINGS 10, KEY REALTY 5: Matt Nicoll, James Terhaar, John Mascolo and Jeff LaFlamme all had multiple-hit performances while Adam Fisher added a triple to lead Poland Spring. Matt Socci pitched two strong innings in relief. For Key, Derek Miles was 2-for-3.

POLAND SPRINGS 12, JP MAGUIRE 3: Adam Fisher went 4-for-4, with a triple, to fuel a 16-hit attack and lead Poaland Springs. John Mascolo pitched six solid innings, allowing just three hits. Greg Mayer and Matt Socci each went 3-for-3. For JP Maguire, Tim Barrett doubled and pitched well.

POLAND SPRINGS 11, EMMETT & GLANDER 8: Mike Morrison, Tim LaPak and Gordon Johnson led a seven-run, third inning rally that lift Poland Springs to the win. LaPak, Tommy Ermini and Alex Rode combined for the pitching duties. For E&G, Matt Glander and Tony Willie combined for four hits.

POLAND SPRINGS 4, BOTSFORD DRIVE-IN 3: John Mascolo went the distance, allowing just three hits and striking out 12 to lead Poland Springs. Tim LaPak and Jeff LaFlamme each went 3-for-3 while Tommy Ermini went 2-for-3. For Botsford, Ted Rocca was 2-for-2 with a double.

POLAND SPRINGS 16, KEY REALTY 6: Jeff LaFlamme led a 12-hit attack with a 4-for-4 performance, including a pair of doubles. Tim LaPak and Alex Rode combined on the mound. For Key, Al Mazur and Jay Kessler had solid games.

POLAND SPRINGS 8, EMMETT & GLANDER 7: Matt Socci and Tim LaPak each went 2-for-3 at the plate as Poland Springs nipped Emmett & Glander. Tommy Ermini and Alex Rode combined on the mound. For E&G, Forest Robertson, Paul Hoover and Benzinger had strong performances at the plate. Charlie Coates went the distance on the mound.

BOTSFORD DRIVE-IN 7, KEY REALTY 6: With the score tied at 6-6 after seven innings, Jimmy Dietter led off the bottom of the eighth with a single, moved to second on a stolen base and third on a ground out by Chris Canfield, before scoring the winning run on Pat Coakley’s single to leftfield. The single completed a rally for Botsford, which had been down as much as 6-1. Tyler Hull and Coakley had key singles in a four-run fourth inning that started the really. Dietter finished with two hits while Ryan Chapin, Ted Rocca and Joe Gantert all had hits. For Key, Mark Fracker went 4-for-5 and scored two runs as Anthony Perez doubled and singled and Jake Elias and Justin Harding had two singles each.

 

MINORS

 

SUGAR HILL 8, BASE TECHNOLOGIES 5: Andrew Meisel banged out three hits while Justin Craparo and Rob O’Donnell hit the ball hard to lead Sugar Hill. Robert Brautigam and RJ Swift played well in the field. For BASE, Mike Coyle, Daniel Spencer and Laura Newberry had two hits apiece while Brian Reszoly pitched well and Nick Saviano had a good game in the field.

BASE TECHNOLOGIES 8, DENTAL ASSOCIATES 5: Nick Saviano had three hits and drove in two runs to lead BASE to the win. Ian Mason had three hits and Ian Cooper drove in a pair of runs. Patrick Stein was solid in the field, as was Brian Reszoly, who also drove in a pair of runs. For Dental Associates, Kevin Bonacci doubled in a pair of runs while Dave Klanica, Pete Wlasuk and Betsy Vendel all played well.
