Rose C. Petersen

Rose C. Petersen, 97, of Sandy Hook, died June 17 at Harborside Healthcare-Glen Hill, Danbury. She was the wife of the late James Petersen.

Mrs Petersen was born in Springvale, Me., October 18, 1902, a daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Jane Croteau. A resident of Newtown the past 60 years, Mrs Petersen was a retired waitress.

She is survived by one niece; two nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews, and many close friends.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated July 1 at 10:30 am in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. Private interment will be in Newtown Village Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
