Assigned To The Bench

To the Editor,

At the Travel Team tryouts Coach Fay benched me for three straight innings. I played shortstop the first inning. I asked him at the beginning of each inning which position I should play and he said the bench.

In the fourth inning my parents came to the bench to get me and we left after being benched for the third straight inning. Thanks for giving me a chance to try out.
