Curator’s Tour Of Special Exhibit

BRIDGEPORT — On Saturday, July 8, The Barnum Museum will host a curator’s tour of the current special exhibition, “P.T. Barnum Presents The ‘Divine Jenny’ Lind.” The tour will begin at 11 am from the lower lobby of the museum, at 820 Main Street. The exhibit celebrates the 150th anniversary of the 1850 American concert tour of the “Swedish Nightingale,” a nickname Barnum fondly called the Swedish performer.
