C.H. Booth Library invites readers to spend part of the evening of Wednesday, June 25, at Aquila’s Nest Vineyard in Sandy Hook, where “Verses in the Vineyard” will be presented.

The library recently invited local and regional poets to share their writing, to be considered for the special event.

All ages are now invited to visit 56 Pole Bridge Road, where “Verses in the Vineyard: Poetry For Hope” will be presented from 6-8:30 pm. Guests will be invited to explore a self-guided stroll through the vineyard, where printed copies of the poetry accepted for the event will be posted. The poems displayed among the vines will blend nature and words in a peaceful setting.

Rain date is Thursday, June 26, same time.

Registration is requested and available through aquilasnestvineyards.com. Additional information is available by contacting the library at 203-426-4533.

Readers are reminded that outside alcoholic beverages, water bottles, nor any other beverages are not allowed to be brought into the vineyard due to its Farm Winery permit. Staff reserves the right to check bags and coolers.
