Organize Your Family History

DANBURY — The Danbury SeniorNet Learning Center is offering an eight-week “Introduction to Genealogy” course starting Wednesday, July 12. Each class will meet from 1 to 3:30 pm.

Using “Family Tree Maker for Windows,” an easy-to-use software program, the course will help participants organize facts about their family history to create a family tree.

The course will be held at Danbury Senior Center, at 80 Main Street. Participants must be at least 50 years of age and have basic computer and MS Windows experience to register.

The fee is $25 for current SeniorNet members or $55 (course fee plus one-year membership) if not a member. Fees include workbook and a diskette.
