A Break For Travelers
A Break For Travelers
To the Editor:
Boy Scout Troop 370 once again hosted a free 24-hour coffee stop over Memorial Day weekend. Many weary and hungry travelers were treated to donuts, bagels, coffee, tea, juice, and a chance to relax for a bit. The boys conduct a wonderful service while at the same time are given the chance to chat to with many people from different towns and states.
The following local businesses who are always supportive of the scouts donated supplies and space. Caraluzziâs, Stew Leonardâs, Stop & Shop, Blue Colony Diner, Pizza Palace, Chartwells Food Service, Big Y, Mobil Gas of Newtown, Shell Gas of Newtown, Newtown Parks and Rec, Newtown Public Works, Dunkinâ Donuts-Newtown, Dunkinâ Donuts-Monroe, Andreaâs Bake Shop, Doughnut Inn of Monroe, Bagel Delight, Kesco Electric, and Associated Refuse. On behalf of Troop 370, I thank them for their continued generosity!
Respectfully submitted,
