NHS Graduates Recognized

Connor McNamara, Kyle O’Connor, and Ralph Sergiovanni, recent graduates of Newtown High School, were recently recognized for their on-field efforts and talents in football and lacrosse.

McNamara was selected to participate in the 12th annual Governors’ Cup football game between top players from Connecticut and Rhode Island at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. The game is scheduled for June 26.

McNamara, a center and defensive tackle, attended a combine to compete against the top defensive linemen from the state where he was evaluated and selected. 

Boys lacrosse players Kyle O’Connor and Ralph Sergiovanni were selected to play in the East vs West Senior Lacrosse All-Star Game which took place in Guilford on Monday night.
