Arthritis Society Seeks Used Cars

ROCKY HILL — The Arthritis Foundation is seeking donations of used cars, trucks, and vans to help the nearly 500,000 Connecticut residents who have arthritis. Contributions of these used vehicles are tax-deductible.

The vehicle must be in running condition and the donor must have a legal title. The Autos for Arthritis program provides free towing.

This year the Autos for Arthritis program has already raised an estimated $6,000, according to Kathy Nemicas, the foundation’s business/finance director. The Southern New England chapter provides education, exercise, and advocacy services in over 100 sites throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island.
