Allison Phaedra Aridas and Khalil Elaouni

Mr and Mrs Anthony Fodera of Newtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Phaedra Aridas, to Khalil Elaouni, Queens, N.Y., son of Mr and Mrs Lahcen Elaouni.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University where she received her bachelor of science degree in communications. She is also a 2000 graduate of Pratt Institute where she earned her master’s in library science.

Ms Aridas holds a position as a librarian in a New York City-based law firm.

Mr Elaouni earned his bachelor’s degree in biology in Paris, France. He is currently employed at a New York City insurance company.

An August 27 wedding is planned in Greenwich at the Hyatt Regency.
