Openings Available At Girl Scout Camps
Camp programs for girls entering grades 1â12 (whether a Girl Scout or not) are still open at the three local Girl Scout camps. These camps are made very convenient because of reasonable cost and bus transportation from selected spots.
At Camp Aspetuck in Weston, depending on age, girls can enjoy Tales and Trails, Skills ânâ Thrills, Games Galore, Sports Sampler, Survivor, If I had a Hammer, and Ultimate Games.Â
At Camp Candlewood in New Fairfield, there are even more choices: Dip and Dab, Game Face, Jewel Jam, Camper Sampler, Bits and Bridles, Horsing Around, Take the Reins, Paddlers, Sew Glam, and Sail Away, Canter and Care, Night Life, and River Rafters.
Camp Rocky Craig in Stamford has openings for Friends Are Fun, Kamping Kids, and Icky Sticky Stuff, Games Around the World, and Artful Adventures.
Camp sessions build girlsâ confidence and develop their interests and potential. For camp information online, visit gscswct.org, or call the Girl Scout Council of Southwestern Connecticut at 800-882-5661.
