Organ Concert Planned

At St John’s

Syracuse University student and Choral Director Daniel Brownell will perform an organ concert at St John’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, July 18, at 3 pm.

Mr Brownell was been a part-time organist for St John’s last summer, and has returned to offer the same this summer.

The public is invited to join St John’s members for an afternoon that will include performances of works by J.S. Bach (Toccata in D minor, “Dorian” BWV 538), Girolamo Frescobaldi (Canzona in D minor), Johann Pachelbel (Fughette in D Major on “Ein Feste Burg ist unser Gott” [A Mighty Fortress Is Our God]), and others.

Admission is free, although a freewill offering will be accepted with donations to benefit The Episcopal Relief & Development Fund.
